Most expensive sneaker (commercially available, non-resale)

As of 14 April 2025, the most expensive pair of sneakers that can be bought in retail are the crystal-covered, premium black leather LV Maxi trainers from Louis Vuitton (France), which retail in-store and online for £4,750 ($6,250).

This record acknowledges the sale of sneaker through the original retailer, and discounts the resale environment, where shoe prices are inflated by the seller.

The oversized LV Maxi black sneakers are covered with Swarovski crystals and carry the signature P of LV's Men's Creative Director Pharrell Williams on the side.
