The first print run of the English-language Millennium edition: Guinness World Records 2000 book was a single run of 2,402,000 copies, making it the largest single print run of a case-bound book in colour.
The print order used 2,666 tonnes 2,624 tons of paper, and required 110 trucks to transport it from France to Barcelona.
It took 14 days to transport the entire amount in 7 to 8 trucks per day.
The paper was 18,000 kms 11,184 miles in length - enough to lay a path 1.37m 4.49ft wide from London to Sydney.
It took 1,170 hours or 29 days to print on two presses.
The binding took 530 hours (26 days) to complete.
A total of 110 containers were required, each weighing 21 tonnes, to transport the US edition books to the USA.
The total quantity of UK and USA books weighed 2,940 tonnes 2,893 tons, complete with cartons and had a cubic area of 4,285 cu metres 5,604 cubic yards.
